What this product or service is

QuickStats are a simple way to understand an area at a glance. They provide a summary of an area including demographics and tables on key characteristics of the people living in the area, their families, and their dwellings.

Features you will find

QuickStats contains summary information about people, families, and dwellings, from a geographical area of your choosing and compares this to state and national data.

There are three types of QuickStats - All persons QuickStats, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people QuickStats and Country of Birth QuickStats.

Who the service is for

Anyone can use Quickstats, this tool is the best starting point for those new to accessing Census data.

Accessing this service

QuickStats can be found by using the Search Census data tool. Once an area is selected, you will be able to select the QuickStats available for that area.

Pricing

The Search Census tool is free to use.
