The ABS Registration Centre allows you to register and access detailed data analysis tools such as, TableBuilder, Confidentialised Unit Record Files and MicrodataDownload.

Who the service is for

Users who wish to register for access to TableBuilder, Confidentialised Unit Record Files and MicrodataDownload such as:

  • Researchers
  • Academics
  • Government employees (Commonwealth, State and Territory, Local)
  • Government contractors and individuals sponsored by government.

Accessing this service

Registered users can log into registration centre.

You can register using your organisation email address (if applicable) to automatically join your organisation in the Registration Centre.

As an ABS registered user, you can:

  • access free TableBuilder products
  • access products your organisation has subscribed to.

Access to the Registration Centre is free.

The types of personal information collected include:

  • contact information
  • address
  • email address.

Personal information is retained and then destroyed in line with current legislative requirements.
