Methodology

Scope

The survey covers all employing organisations in Australia (public and private sectors), except:

  • enterprises primarily engaged in agriculture, forestry and fishing
  • private households employing staff
  • foreign embassies, consulates etc.

State data by industry is not available.

Geographical coverage

Coverage includes estimates:

  • by state and territory

Coverage excludes estimates:

  • for geographic areas below state and territory
